<p>The bolt (1) has two longitudinal end regions (3-6) with fixing holes (7, 8), and a bending section (2) provided between the longitudinal end regions. The bolt is manufactured from a fiber reinforced material containing a set of fibers. The fiber reinforced material contains Cevlar fibers, carbon fibers (9), graphite fibers and/or glass fibers. The fibers have a matrix i.e. resin, for holding the fibers together. The fibers blend around the fixing holes in the longitudinal end regions. An independent claim is also included for a method for installing a flange connection.</p> |
