The invention relates to powder metallurgy, namely to materials based on tungsten carbide for producing the coatings by electric spark alloying, and can be used in engineering for producing the wear-resistant coatings. An electrode material comprises titanium carbide 4.5-29.4; cobalt 3.8-9.6; alumina chromium phosphate, 10-12; tungsten carbide – remainder. The invention provides improvement of operational characteristics of the coating (increased durability, reduced friction coefficient) and reducing the time and number of process steps of manufacturing the material by 2-2.1 times. |
