摘要	FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: modular compressor unit comprises three separate sections arranged in line, i.e.: intake section, compression section and control section. Note here that intake section comprises air intake appliances to let ambient air in for it to be compressed and to cool compressor motor, intake air filters, noise killers incorporated with air intake circuit, appliance to direct air to compression section components. Compression section comprises compressor, motor to drive compressor, at least one intermediate compressed air cooler and all other components in the unit required for cooling compressed air and motor and for heat removal from compression section. Note also that control section comprises all components necessary to control compressor unit. Besides compressor is arranged between flanges on intermediate cooler manifolds with motor suspended there between. ^ EFFECT: reduced noise, longer life. ^ 20 cl, 6 dwg
