PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for a weather strip in which parting lines appear less and a flaw is hardly generated on a surface. SOLUTION: The mounting structure for the weather strip 1 is provided on a door opening part S of an automobile and is mounted to a flange F extending to an inner side of the door opening part S. The weather strip 1 includes a base 2 adhered to the outdoor side surface of the flange F; a seal part 3 formed on the outdoor side of the base 2 and resiliently contacted with a front door D for opening/closing the door opening part S; a seal lip 4 extending from the base 2 to an indoor side and covering the end of the flange F; and a design lip 5 continued from the seal part 3 and extending to the indoor side on the inner side of the door opening part S than the seal lip 4.
