PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet folding device and an image forming device capable of accurately forming a fold at a prescribed position of a sheet when forming the fold in an intermediate part of the sheet by a second folding roller and a third folding roller. SOLUTION: An abutting part moving means 70 is utilized, and conveying of distal ends of the sheets P is stopped once by an abutting part 142b of a second stopper 142. Subsequently, the abutting part moving means 70 is operated, the abutting part 142b is moved in a D2 direction on a lower side, the prescribed position in the intermediate part of the sheets P is made to abut on a second nip part N2 of the second folding roller 112 and the third folding roller 113 in an aligned state of the distal ends of the sheets P, and the distal end of each sheet P can be aligned.
