<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scooter type vehicle for compactly forming a structure of a front section of the vehicle, facilitating oil supply to the vehicle, and largely ensuring a space for positioning rider's legs. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the scooter type vehicle, a front fender 27 is separately provided from a front cover portion 21 and covers the top of a front wheel 3. The front fender is movable with the front wheel 3. A headlight 32 is provided in the transverse center in the vehicle right-to-left direction of the front cover portion 21. A pair of flashers 31a, 31b are provided in the front cover portion 21, and disposed in positions spaced from the transverse center in the right-to-left direction of the vehicle to the rightward and the leftward, respectively. An oil filler 51 is provided in a rear cover portion 24, and includes an oil filler opening 52 and an oil filler cap 53 for opening/closing the oil filler opening 52. When the oil filler cap 53 closes the oil filler opening, the front end of the upper surface of the oil filler cap 53 is disposed in a position spaced from the transverse center of the vehicle either to the rightward or the leftward, and is disposed in a position vertically spaced from the flashers 31a, 31b.
