PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and continuously collect a sample, which accurately represents whole of a powder material as a whole from a large amount of the powder material. SOLUTION: This condensation apparatus is equipped with a cone 11, having an axisymmetric shape, with respect to a vertical axial line and formed so as to be radially expanded downward from its sharpened upper end, and powder is allowed to fall from the region above the apex part of the cone to be allowed to slide downward along the peripheral surface of the con, and a plurality of partition walls 13, which have upper ends at a position lower than the apex part of the cone and continue downward, are provided circumferentially to the cone and the powder is divided into the spaces between a plurality of the partition walls to be allowed to slide and fall. Then, the powder falling from the lower end part of the cone is collected by the collection chutes 33 which rotationally move along the lower end part of the cone. The collection chutes repeatedly pass through the position where the powder falls from the lower end part of the cone, to repeatedly collect the samples respectively with respect to the respective divided powder portions.
