In one embodiment of the invention, the device comprises two wheels with different diameters (1) and (2) comprising magnets (A), (B), (C), (D), (L), (a), (b), (c), (d) and (l) on the periphery thereof. Said wheels are mechanically connected so as to rotate together, in this case by means of gears (3) and (4). A shift, represented by (5) and (6), between the magnets of the two wheels means that the magnetic fields of the two opposing magnets never coincide, while said magnetic fields tend to coincide, which causes the wheels to rotate. The wheel (1) drives the wheel (2) which tends to oppose the movement, but the forces applied to the wheel (1) have greater torque than the forces applied to the wheel (2). The device provides mechanical energy that is suitable for being converted into electric energy by means of a coupled electricity generator. The scope of the invention includes all fields in which mechanical or electric energy is consumed, such as homes, industry, and transportation including cars, sailing craft, and airplanes.
