PURPOSE: A caster for a cart is provided to ensure the stable linearity since a position determining unit is elastically inserted into a position determining groove and maintains the position. CONSTITUTION: A caster for a cart comprises an aligning unit. The aligning unit comprises a holder and a fixing unit. The holder is detachably connected to the leg of the cart. The fixing unit comprises a guide unit. The guide unit is affected by the elastic support force in a vertical direction and thus elastically lifts. The guide unit of the fixing unit makes contact with the outside of the upper part of each support(5a) and guides the linearity of a wheel bracket(5). The fixing unit comprises a installation groove, a spring and a position guiding unit. While an inner space of the installation groove is formed on the location corresponding to the upper part of the outside of the support and its bottom is opened. The spring is installed in the installation groove. The position guiding unit is affected by the elastic supporting force of the spring and a part of the position guiding unit is exposed to the outside of the installation groove.
