<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device and an image forming apparatus capable of removing the toner on a developer carrier and of suppressing the generation of development history. <P>SOLUTION: An auxiliary electrode 11 is at a position which is opposite to a released position of a magnet roller 8, and at a predetermined interval from the surface of a developing sleeve 9, and an auxiliary voltage applying part 12 applies AC components with reversed phase with AC components of bias voltage, with respect to the auxiliary electrode 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
