摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress luminance unevenness of transmitted illuminating light from a plurality of light-emitting diodes while preventing the deterioration of luminance thereof in a display device using the plurality of light-emitting diodes as a backlight of a light-receiving display panel. <P>SOLUTION: The display device 1 includes: the light-receiving display panel 2; the plurality of light-emitting diodes 51-54 transmissively lighting the display panel 2; and an integrator lens 3 disposed between the light-emitting diodes 51-54 and the display panel 2 and composed of a plurality of convex lenses 31-36. The relative arrangement of the light-emitting diodes 51-54 and the integrator lens 3 is set so that focal points 300 of the convex lenses 31-36 are located between the light-emitting diodes 51-54 and the integrator lens 3, and the relative arrangement of the display panel 2, the light-emitting diodes 51-54 and the convex lenses 31-36 and the focal length LF of each focal point 300 are set so that the light-emitting diodes 51-54 are imaged by the convex lenses 31-36 as actual images 500 within the display panel 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
