<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnostic apparatus, where its image display is easily moved like a manual system. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A pair of movable rails 22 is fixed at both ends to a pair of the first carriages 23 movable along fixed rails 21 by the actions of rollers 24. The movable rails 22 move along the fixed rails 21 together with the first carriages 23. Between the pair of movable rails 22, a second movable carriage 26 is arranged to move along the movable rails 22 by the actions of rollers 27, and the second carriage 26 moves along the movable rails 22. An image display 8 is suspended relative to the second carriage 26 by the actions of a suspension mechanism 30 in the state that the display 8 can be inclined toward two directions-the plane of displaying pictures by a monitor 11 at an image display 8, and another plane perpendicular to this plane including the picture display.
