<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide honing method and device capable of performing highly accurate honing and guaranteeing accuracy of the whole of a workpiece. <P>SOLUTION: In this honing method, each grinding tool 11 is expanded in a large end hole 3 of a connecting rod 2 and is centered by using a honing tool 10 having the grinding tools 11 retractable in the radial direction for an outer peripheral part, and subsequently, honing is started by rotating a spindle 13 of the honing tool 10 in a clamped state of the connecting rod 2 by a jig 20 by prescribed clamping force. At this time, expansion pressure of each grinding tool 11 during initial rotation of the spindle 13 is set to pressure (centering pressure P1) preventing the connecting rod 2 clamped by the jig 20 from generating relative displacement during the initial rotation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
