CONVERSION DEVICE, CONVERSION METHOD, DISPLAY SYSTEM AND COMPUTER PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conversion device for displaying rubies (kana phonetic characters) in an easy-to-see manner, a conversion method, a display system and a computer program.

SOLUTION: A PC 1 accepts lyrics data from a server device 2 through a network N. The PC 1 reads and couples continuously arranged lyrics character strings with rubies contained in lyrics data and connects the corresponding ruby character string. The PC 1 converts the lyrics character string with rubies and the corresponding ruby character string contained in the accepted lyrics data, respectively into the coupled lyrics character strings with rubies and the coupled ruby character strings and outputs them to the server device 2 as display data. The server device 2 transmits the display data obtained by conversion by the PC 1 to a Karaoke device 3. The Karaoke device 3 displays the rubies in an easy-to-see manner along the lyrics character strings with rubies by displaying the received display data.
