摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system of low cost capable of estimating the discharge amount of fluid in high precision without using a flowmeter while allowing individual difference of the discharge amount to the output of a blower and a pump, and its operation method. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system has a fuel cell 14, fluid supply means B1, B2 which discharge and send fluid according to the output in order to supply the fluid for power generation reaction to the fuel cell, a pressure loss element part 5A which causes a prescribed pressure loss to the fluid passing through the passage, a pressure measuring means 9A1 which measures the pressure of the fluid in the passage on the upstream side of the pressure loss element part, and a means 10A which estimates the flow rate of the fluid by obtaining the pressure loss by calculation based on the measured pressure and its correlation by comprehending and storing beforehand the correlation between the flow-rate of the fluid and the pressure loss in the pressure loss element part, or by measuring the pressure loss on the downstream side of the pressure loss element part and obtaining the pressure loss caused in the pressure loss element part from this pressure and the measured pressure on the upstream side and based on the pressure loss obtained and the correlation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
