<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion apparatus for preventing DC magnetic deflection and loss increase, and for improving noise reduction performance. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The power conversion apparatus has a converter for converting AC into DC, a carrier frequency calculation unit for calculating carrier frequency, and a PWM control unit for implementing a pulse width modulation control of the converter by comparing a triangular wave carrier calculated from the carrier frequency with a modulation wave.
