MEMBRANE COMPRISING AMINO ACID MOBILE CARRIER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable composition easily molded into a membrane and exhibiting high selectivity and permeability to gas. SOLUTION: The curable composition comprises: a polyvinyl alcohol; an aliphatic polyamine; a polyglycidyl ether; and a salt of a 3C-5C amino cycloaliphatic acid. The curable composition comprises a crosslinked polyvinyl alcohol comprising structural units derived from a polyglycidyl ether, a polyamine and a salt of a 3C-5C amino cycloaliphatic acid. The compositions are useful for the production of a gas separation membrane in which the 3C-5C amino cycloaliphatic acid in the form of its salt functions as a mobile carrier of carbon dioxide.
