PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellular-phone-compatible navigation apparatus which, when a cellular phone is used on the hands-free system in which it is connected to a vehicular navigation apparatus and when route guidance is provided on a split screen in the navigation apparatus, displays the route guidance displayed on the split screen in an easy-to-see manner. SOLUTION: When a screen for route guidance apart from a map screen which is regularly displayed is usually displayed on a two-split screen, when an incoming call or the operation of telephonic communication on the cellular phone is detected, the screen for route guidance is displayed on an enlarged screen such as full-screen display. When there is an incoming call to the cellular phone, incoming call guidance display is performed together with the route guidance screen enlarged display. When the cellular phone is operated, inter-vehicle distance warning and surroundings obstacle detection warning are forcefully operated regardless of their setting to be suspended.
