<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for predicting time developing unit is to be replaced, the device more accurately predicting the time for replacement, according to the utilization state of the developing unit, and to provide an image-forming device and an image-forming system therefor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The device for predicting the time developing unit is to be replaced includes: an acquisition means which acquires utilization state information including; a feeding period of time in which a developer is fed to a developing means in an image-forming device having a transfer means which transfers developer images to a transfer body, the developer images being developed on an image carrier by a developing unit and the developing means; a driving period in which the image carrier is rotatively driven; and the number of transfer times of the developer images to the transfer body for each of a plurality of different rotational speeds: a recording means which records the utilization state information thus acquired: and a predicting means which compares the preliminarily determined reference value for the feeding period, the reference value for a driving period of time, and the reference value for the number of transfer times with the feeding period of time, the driving period of time and the number of the transfer times which are all indicated by the utilization-state information recorded to the recording means, to predict the time the developing unit is to be replaced.
