PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt clasp which can release fastening and fixing of a belt simply and easily even if the belt is fastened and fixed strongly. SOLUTION: In the belt clasp 1, a belt B is pinched and held in the thickness direction with a pinching and holding member 3 attached between frame parts 2a and 2a of a supporting frame 2 and a winding part 4a of a releasing lever 4 attached on a frame 2c of the supporting frame 2. By this the more a belt A and the belt B are tensed in the longitudinal direction, the stronger the belts can be fastened and fixed. Then fastening and fixing of the belt A, B can be released simply and easily by turning the releasing lever 4 in the fastening releasing direction to make the center top part of a cam 4d in contact with both ends of the pinching and holding member 3 and also to move the pinching and holding member 3 forcibly in the direction separating from a winding part 4a of the releasing lever 4.
