PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a four-way selector valve reducing a pressure loss of high-pressure refrigerant or the like, flowing through a valve body. SOLUTION: The four-way selector valve 1 is equipped with: the valve body 2 having an enclosed space; a first conduit 4 connected to one side of the valve body, and communicating with the enclosed space; a second conduit 6 connected to the other side of the valve body and communicating with the enclosed space; third and fourth conduits 10, 11 arranged adjacently to each other on both sides sandwiching the second conduit 6, communicating with the enclosed space, and having the same inner diameter as that of the second conduit 6; a valve seat 15 having an opening communicating with each of the second to fourth conduits in the valve body 2; and a valve element 14 slidably arranged in the valve seat 15. In the four-way selector valve 1, the communication status between the first conduit and the third conduit, or between the first conduit and the fourth conduit is selectively switched by sliding the valve element 14 to in one direction or the other direction. The minimum cross sectional area between the periphery of a connection port 5 of the first conduit 4 of the valve body 2 and an outer peripheral surface 14a of the valve element 14 is set equal to or larger than the inner diameter cross sectional area of a pipe connected to the first to the fourth conduit.
