<p>The invention provides an electric steering locking apparatus capable of reliably preventing a locking component accidentally moving to a locking position. The electric steering locking apparatus (10) has a rotating body (30) which rotates by the driving force of an electromotor (26); a cam mechanism which has a cam part (40) capable of moving because of the rotating of the rotating body (30) anda driven part (46) moving by sliding on the cam part (40); a locking component (49) which is connected with the driven part (46) of the cam mechanism and is capable of moving between the locking position clamped with a steering shaft (1) and an unlocking position for releasing the clamping. A moving stop part (43) is provided on the rotating body (30) and is positioned the position clamped with the locking component (49) to stop the locking component (49) to move to the locking position, under the state that the rotating body (30) rotates to the unlocking position by the electromotor (26).</p> |
