PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display medium easy to be manufactured by preventing discharge between electrodes facing each other, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The display medium 70 includes: display elements 30a, 30b provided between a pair of electrodes 14, 24 respectively formed on flexible substrates 10, 20 facing each other; a first electrode terminal 45a overlapped on a part of the first electrode 14 and electrically connected thereto through a conductive adhesion material 46a; a second electrode terminal 45b overlapped on a part of the second electrode 24 and electrically connected thereto through a conductive adhesion material 46b; a first terminal hole 43a provided on one substrate side and for electrically leading out the first electrode through the first electrode terminal; and a second terminal hole 43b provided on the same substrate side as a first terminal hole and for electrically leading out the second electrode through the second electrode terminal.
