PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface protective film which hardly contaminates a body to be protected when applied to the surface protective film of a plastic product or the like and prevents the body to be protected on which antistatic treatment is not performed, from being electrified when the surface protective film is exfoliated. SOLUTION: This self-adhesive composition contains a (meth)acrylic polymer based on a (meth)acrylic monomer having a 6-14C alkyl group, a polyether polyol compound, and alkali metal salt. The acid value of the (meth)acrylic polymer is≤1.0 and the self-adhesive composition contains <0.1 parts weight alkali metal salt on the basis of 100 parts weight (meth)acrylic polymer.
