PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost surveying device for a pipe-jacking method for directly burying a pipe to be buried in the ground, capable of stably surveying even a line formed by curved excavation through the use of an excavator. SOLUTION: The surveying device 1 in the pipe-jacking method, wherein an inner pipe 8 having a space penetrating in its axial direction is inserted into the pipe to be buried, and the pipe is buried in the ground excavated by applying a propulsive force to an excavator 205 by a back-pushing device installed in a starting pit, to form a pipe line, includes: a starting truck 71 which travels by itself in the penetrating space of the inner pipe 8; a surveying gyro truck 76 which is linked to the starting truck 71 and travels along a rail 12 laid in the space of the inner pipe 8 in the axial direction; a starting truck storage pipe 2 which is provided in the direction of starting pit excavation of the excavator 205 to store the starting truck 71; a station pipe 5 to be the survey end point of the gyro truck 76; and a launcher for setting the survey start point of the gyro truck 76 in the starting pit.
