PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation apparatus which can change a user interface screen and an executable application in accordance with the usage environment for a user. SOLUTION: The navigation apparatus 1 includes a control circuit 11 which detects the usage environment of the navigation apparatus 1 by using a GPS sensor 18 and by detecting the presence or absence of electric power supply from a cradle 2 and sets a user interface screen and an executable application of the navigation apparatus 1 on the basis of the detected usage environment.
