PURPOSE: A device for regenerating an old pipe and a method for regenerating an old pipe using the same are provided to perform a pipe regenerating work even if a coating removal device is out of order. CONSTITUTION: A method for regenerating an old pipe is as follows. A coating removal device(100) removes films on the inner surface of a pipe(P) by being moved in a pipe regenerating range(RP), and then the coating removal device is drawn out of the pipe regenerating range. A shot blasting device(300) and a coating device(400) are simultaneously moved in the pipe regenerating range to shot-blast and coat the inner surface of the pipe. And then, the shot blasting device and the coating device are drawn out of the pipe regenerating range.
