<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording method which can record images having stable image quality irrespective of a variation among recording mediums or inkjet heads. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The image recording method has a process of mixing two or more kinds of ink compositions containing a first ink composition containing a coloring material and a second ink composition containing polymer particles before discharge and preparing discharge ink, a process of measuring image information by capturing images drawn on recording mediums by the discharge ink discharged by an inkjet method, and a process of adjusting diameters of droplets of droplets-impacting ink and recording images on the recording mediums by discharging the discharge ink mixed at a mixing ratio at the time of mixing by an inkjet method when the measured value of image information satisfies a prescribed range, and by changing the mixing ratio of the two or more kinds of ink compositions so as to satisfy the prescribed range and discharging the discharge ink mixed at a changed mixing ratio by the inkjet method when the measured value of the image information fails to satisfy the prescribed range.
