<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container sealing device that eliminates the need to obtain a space for tape drum replacement operation on the rear face side of a sealing device, requires only a widthwise space for the installation of the tape drum, and enables the entire sealing device to be installed close to a wall or suchlike in a factory. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A container conveyor 5 includes a device by which the superposed peripheries of a lid body and the body of a container storing goods are sealed with a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape. In this conveyor 5, a tape holder 9 for attaching a tape drum 60, in which the long pressure-sensitive adhesive tape 6 is wound in a large number of layers in the form of a wide drum, is disposed in a horizontal position so that the tape holder substantially intersects the direction of movement of the conveyor 5, above the rear face side of the conveyor 5. Using a space (a) above the conveyor 5, the tape drum 60 is formed at a height sufficient to attach the tape drum 60 to the tape holder 9 from the front face side of the conveyor 5.
