The ring has a tubular joint (27) with a support (28) and a deformable tubular envelope (34) that are extended along a guideline, where the tubular envelope is made of cellular polypropylene alloy material. The support is mounted on a right lateral part (16B) of an upper section of a cowl (10) that is in the form of a vertical plate transversely extending in a motor vehicle. The tubular envelope is connected to the support. A foam block (40) is connected to a part of an external surface of the tubular envelope, where the block is made of cellular material with semi-open cell polyurethane. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle comprising a cowl.
