<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facility system in which only a necessary application is easily installed when a configuration of equipment or a system environment changes. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The facility system includes, on a network, a center server 4 storing a plurality of applications for monitoring or controlling the functions of equipment 2; a system configuration management part 1d that manages the system configuration by detecting the entering of equipment to the network and identifying the equipment entering the network; an application execution part 1b that monitors or controls the equipment 2 by executing installed applications; and a downloading part 1c that downloads an application related to the detected equipment 2 entering the network, from the center server 4 to the application executing part 1b, when the system configuration management part 1d detects the entering of the equipment 2 to the network.
