<p>The invention relates to a portable breath analyser apparatus for measuring the partial gas content exhaled in the breath fluid while respecting a standard deviation less than 0.007 mg/L for any concentration lower than 0.400 mg/L, a relative standard deviation less than 1.75% for any concentration greater than or equal to 0.400 mg/L and less than or equal to 2.000 mg/L, and a relative standard deviation less than 6% for any concentration greater than 2.000 mg/L. The device includes a rechargeable power supply unit, a device for emitting a pumped infrared radiation, an infrared receiver and a measuring tank in which the fluid flows, characterised in that the emission device includes a heating element having a power of between 60 mW and 130 mW, the measuring tank includes a metal tube having an inner diameter of between 5 and 12 mm, a length of between 140 and 220 mm and a polished inner surface coated with a deposit that reflects at least the infrared radiation at wavelengths within an interval of [9, 10µm] and, at each end of the tube, a tip including a conical section to be positioned in the shaft of the tube and having an opening angle of between 8° and 30°, wherein the infrared emission device is arranged on the longitudinal axis of the tube at the other tip, the tube being further provided with a heating means capable of heating the tube to a temperature greater than 39°C.</p> |
