An interconnecting solid grout system comprises a bottom grout member 520 and a top grout member 540, wherein both the bottom and top grout members comprises a plurality of recesses 570, 580. Both grout members include a central region [Fig. 37; 541], connected to an angled portion [Fig. 37; 581] via a narrow portion [Fig. 37; 571], the angled and narrow portions forming a groove [Fig. 37; 575] . The angled portion is received by slots formed by tabs [Fig. 2; 200, 300] from interconnecting tray substrates/floor panels/floor tiles, which together may form a modular floor. The recesses of the top grout member may overlap with the recess of the bottom grout member and form an interconnected joint region. The top grout member may further include one or more split inserts [Fig. 36; 532(a), 532(b)] on either side of the recess. |
