The machine (10) has a container to receive a portion (20) containing a determined dosage of substance e.g. roasted and ground coffee, partially soluble in water. Heating unit heats a preset quantity of water in a reservoir. An electric motor is coupled to an automatic discharge device of the portion after the utilization of machine. The device is used for unlocking and opening an extraction chamber that contains a rotating support (21) carrying the portion, swinging the support and ejecting the used portion into a recovery tray (14) immediately after extraction, without user intervention.
