<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved cultivation box by improving such demerits that a conventional cultivation box requires 2 tubes for each of culture solution feeding and discharging pipes, and simplifying a device and decreasing an installation cost. <P>SOLUTION: This improved cultivation box is obtained by setting a root storing chamber in a box made of an adiabatic material, setting a plurality of planting holes opening from the upper surface of the box into the root storing chamber, and extending the leaf and stalk parts of plants planted in the planting holes to the upper surface of the box, and the roots to the root storing chamber. The lower end of the culture solution pouring passage is opened as a pouring passage outlet on one side of the root storing chamber, and the upper end of the culture solution pouring passage is projected as a pouring passage inlet to the upper surface of the box. Furthermore, the upper end of the culture solution discharging passage is opened as a discharging passage inlet on the other side of the root storing chamber, and the lower end of the culture solution discharging passage is arranged as a discharging passage outlet in a lower place where the culture solution pouring passage inlet is to be placed when vertically inverting the cultivation box. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
