<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of reducing deteriorated toner in a developer. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a charger including a second charging part that charges a second end out of a first end determined in advance, a center part determined in advance to be adjacent to the first end, and the second end determined in advance to put the center part between the first end and the second end, which comprise an image holding body, and a first charging part that charges the center part and the first end of the image holding body; and a development unit including a development roll having a potential difference from the image holding body, and comprising a developing part that conveys the developer to a developing area facing the center part by holding and rotating the developer on its surface, a first non-developing part that conveys the developer to the first non-developing area facing the first end, and a second non-developing part that conveys the developer to a second non-developing area facing the second end. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
