PURPOSE: A terminal device, a broadcasting receiving apparatus, and a control method thereof are provided to enable a user to watch another channel situation and EPG information without interruption. CONSTITUTION: A communication unit(110) receives EPG(Electronic Program Guide) information from an internet. A display unit(120) displays an EPG screen including broadcasting channel information based on the EPG information. A broadcasting receiving device performs an operation corresponding to user selection under control of a control unit(130). The first communication module receives the EPG information.
