<p>Disclosed are a distribution system, a method, and a conversion device that accelerate a conversion of a stream when the conversion of the stream is necessary when distributing the stream. A distribution system, which distributes one or more streams over a network to a terminal, comprises a conversion device (102), which, when the distribution system distributes encoded video data that is specified upon a terminal (103), reuses the information of the encoded data, converts the encoded data, and transmits the converted encoded data to the terminal, in order that the distribution of the encoded data conforms to one or both of the performance information that is communicated by the terminal and the network status.</p> |
