Described herein is a method and apparatus that may be used in various applications, such as medical treatment of humans and animals. In one embodiment, the subject matter discloses a method for evacuation of secretions in the tracheal tube of a patient during endotracheal intubation by incorporating the use of a novel closed suction tracheal device containing a dedicated primary liquid reservoir, and a volume liquid chamber for supplying the liquid for lavage. |
