The present invention relates to frozen rice with topping and a method for preparing the same, and more specifically, to frozen rice wherein the sauce for the topping is formed into a block and frozen and then placed over the rice prior to packaging which not only allows for a simple, single microwaving and serving, but also brings out the unique flavour of the rice.
