<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outboard motor in which the turning angle is not limited according to its size, the turning angle is not limited even when a space from another juxtaposed outboard motor is small, and any increase in size can be prevented. <P>SOLUTION: A lower case 5 with a propeller shaft 11 being arranged therein is connected in an oscillating manner to an upper case including an engine. A connection mechanism 14 includes a hollow columnar member 41 fixed to the lower case 5 while a drive shaft 10 as a shaft for oscillation being penetrated therethrough, and a bearing holder 42 which rotatably supports the hollow columnar member 41 and is fixed to the upper case. Further, an output shaft of a turning motor 45 has a hollow shaft structure, and the hollow columnar member 41 penetrates the hollow shaft. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
