The military head (1) has an insert ring surrounding a circular explosive load (3) and arranged around an axis. Explosive sectors (9) are arranged between an external case (2) and the insert ring. The sectors are initiated individually by a specific initiating unit. Different power levels of the explosive sectors are chosen, so that initiation of the sectors ensures initiation of the load by impacts transmitted through inserts (7). The inserts are arranged in a compressible damping material (6).
