FUNCTIONAL GINSENG PREPARATION USING ALMOND EXTRACT AND PROCESS FOR THEREOF

PURPOSE: A functional ginseng composition using almond extract and a method for preparing the same are provided to improve functionality to ginseng saponin and to enhance nutritional value. CONSTITUTION: A ginseng composition is prepared by reacting almond extract and ginseng powder and extracting the reactant. The almond extract is obtained by mixing almond and pH 5-9 of buffer solution with a mixer at 40-70°C and freeze-drying. The ginseng is Panax ginseng, Panax quinquefolium, Panax notoginseng, or Panax japonicum. A functional food contains ginseng composition.
