<p>PURPOSE: A gel polymer electrolyte for a dye-sensitized solar cell is provided to minimize the volatilization and leakage of the electrolyte, to obtain stability to external environmental change for a long term, and to obtain voltage and optical conversion efficiency similar as a conventional liquid electrolyte. CONSTITUTION: A gel polymer electrolyte for a dye-sensitized solar cell comprises: 5-40 weight% of a polymer component which is selected from a group comprising a UV-curable urethane acrylate monomer, oligomer, and their copolymer; and 55-90 weight% of a liquid electrolyte(300) which is composed of 2-10 weight% of a photoinitiator, oxidation-reduction derivative, and an organic solvent. The oxidation-reduction derivative is selected from lithium iodide, sodium iodide, iodination potassium, lithium bromide, sodium bromide, potassium bromide, quaternary ammonium salt, imidazolium salt, and pyridinium salt.</p> |
