PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a business form file comprising a plurality of pages to be generated by separate devices in a distributed manner.

SOLUTION: When a form file for defining a format of a business form and a data file corresponding to the form file are used to generate a business form file, the data file is divided into data files of the size obtained from predetermined conditions, the divided data files and the corresponding form file are transmitted to a plurality of computers, some files forming the business form file after overlay processing by the plurality of computers are received, and then the business form file is generated according to the sequence of division.
