Class 132(3) A shuttlecock comprises a head A and a flared skirt 1, the head comprising a skirt end 2, which is moulded integrally with the skirt, and a moulded rubber cap 3. The cap comprises inner and outer annular parts 6 and 8, the inner surrounding a spigot 4 and the outer resting against a landing 9 on the skirt end. As shown, the annular part 6 is engaged by the sides of a groove 7 in the skirt end and in a modification the groove 7 is wider than the thickness of the wall part 6. Adhesive may be used in securing the cap. |
