PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve structure for a shock absorber capable of satisfying both of ride comfort of a vehicle and a stroke length. SOLUTION: The valve structure for the shock absorber includes a valve disk 1 having a port 2 formed thereon, a rod member 5a erecting from an axial center part of a valve disk 1, an annular leaf valve 10 having the rod member 5a inserted through an inner circumference side thereof and laminated on the valve disk 1 to block the port 2, an annular valve holding member 11 having the rod member 5a inserted through an inner circumference side thereof and laminated on the leaf valve 10, and an energizing means energizing the leaf valve 10 to a direction blocking the port 2 through the valve holding member 11. In the valve structure for the shock absorber, the energizing means includes an annular flat spring 15 fixed on the rod member 5a at an inner circumference side and having a free end at an outer circumference side, and makes the flat spring 15 partially abut on the valve holding member 11 at a circumferential interval.
