PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to reduce the number of parts by locating a circuit board of a protective circuit module on one end of a cylindrical bare cell, to save a manufacturing cost, and to reduce the damage of the secondary battery due to external impacts. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery(100) comprises: a cylindrical can(112) forming a first electrode, a cylindrical bare cell(110) including an electrode cap(113d) which is combined with the cylindrical can; and a protective circuit module(120) including a circuit board(121) which is arranged to be opposite on the electrode cap of the bare cell. The protective circuit module includes a first electrode tap(130a) which connects the circuit board to a first electrode and a second electrode tap connecting the circuit board to a second electrode tap of the bare cell. |
