PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply processing the surface of a polymer. SOLUTION: The method includes a step of bringing the polymer into contact with a liquid, then removing the liquid from the polymer, and thereby processing the surface of the polymer. The polymer is one or more selected from the group consisting of: homopolymers of acrylic esters; copolymers containing the acrylic esters; homopolymers of methacrylic esters; copolymers containing the methacrylic esters; homopolymers of lactic acid; and copolymers containing the lactic acid.
