Electro-pneumatic brake system

The invention relates to the pneumatic brake systems of vehicles with pressure modulators. An electro-pneumatic brake system has a pedal position sensor, an angular velocity sensor of wheels, an electronic control unit, and pressure modulators of supplied air from a receiver into brake chambers. Each modulator has a stepper motor that can move an exhaust valve relative to a spring-loaded seat, which is connected to an inlet valve located in a spring-loaded piston. Between the modulator and brake chambers two-line safety valves are installed with possibility of separation of the brake chambers from the modulators, and of connection thereof to the brake valve in the case of failure of the electrical system. The invention facilitates high quality control of braking and reliable connection of a secondary braking system.
